When the group goes for a ride, communication is through CB Channel 2. In order to hear anyone, I have to be on channel 1. 2016 Ultra.

 

Never heard that one before. Odd to be sure.

 

Maybe try resetting the seque while radio is on channel two ? Volume level off ? That is weird..

 

I doubt there is a way to disable the 2-min cutoff.

I would setup something electronic that cuts off your mic-switch and re-connects it.
Like a one-second off, then on-again.
Putting a light would let you know when it's about to cut off.
