Installed my LRS 10" Mega Curve on my Ultra 3 days ago. Went for a 70 mile ride and while cleaning off the bike noticed a crack at the center bolt. Before you start flaming me for over tightening, I only tightened my bolts to 15 in/lbs. My acrylic shields didn't crack, but the polycarbonate did. Sent an email to LRS since I bought 3 shields in the past 2 months.
Waiting on their response.
If the crack(s) are not too bad you can stop drill them with a small diameter bit (1/8 or smaller if you have). Just drill the hole at the end of the crack and it won't go further.

I know, I planned on doing that. I have drill bits specifically for plastic. Thanks.
But it's a brand new shield and if LRS is willing to replace it, I'll take it.
After removing the fairing, I realized why the windshield cracked. It's not a proper fit. In order to get the windshield seated properly, you have to put a lot of force at the center.
When the two outer crews are lined up, the center hole is 3/4 to an inch off of the center hole. No matter how tight or loose the center screw is, it's gonna crack.
Look at the curve comparison between the stock shield and the Mega Curve.
This is how it sits in the center with the edges sitting properly on the outside mounting holes.
