Default Amsoil Question!

I just changed my oil and put in 3.75 quarts of 20w50 in my 2007 RKC. I can't believe how smooth the bike runs and how it feels cooler than before. I even had the Harley Syn 3 previously and to me there is a big difference. Anyway, I would like to know the capacities for the primary and the tranny. Also, What Amsoil product can I put in them. I hear some people talking of gear oil but i'm not sure. It says on the 20w50 you can put it in all 3 holes. A little confusing. Thanks

I run Amzoil 20w50 in all three holes. The bike runs cooler ( by about 20 degrees), shifts better and the clutch engages nicer.
Not sure how much goes in the primary or the trany, but, it seems to me that six bottles does them all.

Depending on your weather temps and riding condition, the choices may vary. Of course, you can put the 20w50 in all three holes. I've done that too. But, what I found to be better was to put the Severe Gear 75w90 in the trans and 10w40 in the primary. I live in AZ, and this combination works better for me in the extreme heat! The primary will take almost a quart, but the tranny will take only about 20ounces.

I run 20W50 in the engine, ART (Super Shift) in the primary, and 75W-90 gear lube in the transmission. All Amsoil products, and I even use there oil filter.

20w-50 in engine, severe gear 75w-90 in Trans. I had the 20w-50 also in the primary, but had a leak at the drain plug and put in hd formula + (quicker to get over a weekend).

Had the dealer do the 1K (went to HD syn for now). This combo is what I'm going to move to next change - only 2.5Kso far. BTW - I'm alsoa believer inusing a good brand of Ford Type-F for primary/clutch.
