Default Fork mounted wind deflectors, fangs

So I just mounted these and they actually work...Coupled with my 9in wave windshield I think it is about as good as its going to get, I was trying to reduce the wind buffeting and headaches after a short ride on the freeway. I am pleased as punch. BUT... Is it in my head that I feel more heat from the motor now, especially the rt side crossover pipe? Hopefully when I put on the Truduals the heat will be reduced some, at least on the rt side. I think the "Fangs" really help hold the heat in, guess I cant have my cake and eat it too.

Haven't found the need for Fangs on my '19SGS, but do have them on my Heritage, so I know they work well.

Even with out fangs, my right leg near my knee, got very hot when riding at rather slow speeds. The heat of the rear head is intense and I can only assume is made worse by installing fangs that devert the air flow.

I installed the H-D Coolfan that pulls the heat away from the rear head area and, therefore, the right knee also. Made a world of difference. In the auto mode it only activates when the temp in that area excededs 80 degrees F (I believe).

So no more cooked right knee and leg during slow traffic rides.

Losing the cat and adding a PV with a decent tune got rid of a lot of heat and I didn’t notice anymore when I added fangs and lowers

Fangs definitely block plenty of wind and make the ride warmer.

I got fangs a few years ago, but honestly did NOT notice a difference. But then again, I have never tried them with my windsheild; in the 10 years I have owned my bike, I have only used the windshield 4 or 5 times. I basically installed the fangs 'cause I liked the way they looked! Gonna try the soft lowers for this winter.

I put fangs on my RKC and ever since then, my EITMS gets triggered when riding round town so they do reduce airflow to the motor. However, the big reduction in the buffering is worth it to me. The EITMS is doing what it was designed to do so I try not to think about it too much but it'll get a little warm on those short stop and go rides.

I have fangs as well...work really well in combo with LRS curved shield. However...my right leg gets toasted in hot weather.

I put the deflectors on my 19 SGS.

They did the trick as far as cutting down the buffetting.

That plus a 9 inch windshield from Freedom Shields made things great.

The heat is there. I noticed it without the deflectors too though.

I got stuck on the freeway yesterday idling along going nowhere fast and the bike didn't overheat and die but I sure was feeling it. I'm glad that they work as advertised because the buffeting was really annoying. I guess since its October in Michigan I should welcome the extra heat the fangs provide. I forgot to bring up I can here the stock radio now on the freeway, now I don't really need to upgrade over the winter, wife will be happy.

Bike is 07 so there's no cat to remove, already added CVO mufflers and Nightrider O2 foolers but want to go TrueDuals to reduce some more heat and love the sound.
