2015 and 2016 ultra

2015 and 2016 ultra
I am considering buying a 2015 or 2016 Ultra. Can anyone comment if these years were plagued by chronic problems? Known design or manufacturing misses such as earlier models with cam chain tensioners. Problems along those lines.

I'm no authority, and I'm sure you will hear stories of the rare "lemon", however the Rushmore line [2014 - ?] seems to have been pretty solid. There were certainly a few recalls [something with the clutch and I forget the other] but these were simple fixes.

Yep, there is a problem with them, you will want to make it yours, change windscreen, change exhaust, get a trunk organizer, get LED's for the turn signals, change bars, add a backrest, add highway pegs, the list of problems just goes on and on as long as your wallet holds out!

Only the Limited had water pumps. The Ultra Classic Electra Glide did not. I own one so I know.

I was replying in general terms I guess I should have been more specific. If he is looking he may also look at the limited and that is info he may want to know. I know because I stayed in a Holiday inn.
