I know the tour pack can be moved back. There are 6 bolts thay mount it to the rack. Do I just move it back and only use 4 of the bolts to hold it down leave the last 2 over hanging from the mount? It's for my buddies 11 cvo rg. He had a ton of custom work done and his seat now seats way back leaving no room for his wife behind him

I'm pretty sure there's only 4 bolts holding mine on. Plenty of relocation brackets out there to move them back. I made my own with some 1/2x1" aluminum and tapped holes 1 and 2" further back. Bolt the adaptor to the bracket then bolt the TP to that.
There are six on his quick detach rack, not sure what brand it is tho . Dk sells a set up but there's a note that says it's not needed on 09-13's. He wanted to drill new holes in his bracket but I don't really wanna do the work lol.
I think we put 70 miles on it Sunday lol. This is the first time it's gonna be 2up tho.
Love the bike. Cool exhaust!! Only thing that I don't like is that passenger seat. Cant be comfy. Hope she is tiny...
As for the TP, four bolts or fine, but if he thinks he need all six, drill two new holes and plug up the old ones.
I think moving it and only using the 4 is fine.. She is tiny but so is that seat. It's still a fairly comfortable bike even with the air ride and 30.
The exhaust was custom made by the shop thay did the rest of the work, the other side is the same

Nice looking bike. One suggestion, and IMO would look better, is lose the TP and go with a decent passenger backrest thats adjusted toward the rear.
Unless his wife doesnt like that and like my wife, insisted on the wrap around back pad.. Then, the kits I see allow up to 4 inches back ( 3 by using the last bolt holes on the Kuryakyn plates and sliding all the way to the rear of the slotted holes of the removable base.
