So the thing cost $400.00 looks like ez install but is there a easier and cheaper way to get Sirius. As of now I get it on my phone and it goes to the radio, only thing cant change channels or when phone single is out so is Sirius. $ 400.00 seems like a lot . I did have a iPod but when hooked up radio say don't support it. Worked on my 2015 but not on the 2019

Same as my iPod. I wound up throwing an old iPhone 5 in the glove box permanently to just be a music player. Works great and album art to boot. Its either that or buy a new Touch that hopefully would work.
This is not as clean as built in but it is much cheaper;
I use a portable XM radio on my bike. When I don't use it on the bike, I take it in the house.
There are handlebar mounts available for the portable XM radios at an "XM Fan Store". Also, a short cable antenna. I have mine on my Ultra so I bought one of their 5 volt power supplies and mounted it under the fairing with the tail of the power supply zip tied to the handlebars.
When I want the XM radio, I attach it to the mount on the handlebar, connect the power cord and the antenna. I use a piece of double sided tape on the bottom of the antenna piece and attach it to the ledge on the Ultra's fairing. I've been doing this for 10+ years.
I only buy an annual subscription for this one portable radio, use it on the bike, in the car, in the house, don't need a separate subscription for any other radio.
I got a new touch but don't know how to get the ipod music to the touch. Waiting for my grand daughter to come home from collage to help me out.
How did you get your music on your old iPod? I believe you need iTunes to do it. If you have all your music on iTunes just sync your Touch to your iTunes music library.

My old ipod would not match up with the new bike. It worked on the old one. Yes I did iTunes for the new touch ipod some how I got it to download my music from my computer plugged it in to the bike and it works. So on the older boom box it would let me pick song and albums this one don't care just use it when radio station and phone singles are out of reach..
