Rear light bar
On my RKC the light bar is loose. I dont want to take it to the dealer to tighten, I dont want the bike there for 3 days. I dont have the manual or the vid. My question is this, How do i tighten the nut? It is under the fender, on the right side there is barley enough room to put a finger tip there. Do i have to pull the fender off? I appreciate any help

I just slid a wrench inbetween the tire and fender and after a little jiggleing got it on the nut and tightened it up. I believe it is a half inch wrench that is needed. Hope this helps.

It is held on by 2 nuts, not sure of size but it is very tight. You can lay on your back and get up in there with alot of small turns you can get it tightened. It's not easy but can be done, don't pay the dealer.

Thanks guys, I do intend to get the manual until then the rattle is driving me nutz. I didnt think about jacking it up that will give just enough room to throw a wrench on it. Thanks for your help, I will try to get on it tonight.

I've got the same problem going on right now - and have been tightening it up every week or so (the nut on the right). Its a 1/2" - and I alternate between a small socket & a wrench...however, I do believe the only true fix for this (so it doesn't keep on loosening up on you) is going to be to jack it up - remove the tire, remove the bolt(s) completely, then use some loctite and put your bolts back in.
