Default Pulling to the left

Installed new chrome lowers, mono tubes, and tire. Now bike pulls a bit to the left hands off. Any suggestions what may be causing that? 2012 road king classic. Thanks

Well one possibility is the neck bearings. I'd do a fall away test to check them for snugness. I'd had the same problem on a 2001 dyna years ago. There are a lot of other possible culprits though, such as air pressure, wheel alignment (you just got a tire put on), and wheel bearings.

Just start checking the easy stuff first.

Default RE: Pull to the lefti did my own after the dealer service rep rode mine and stated it was within harley specs.i lengthened my front stabilizer 4 rounds after taking the top stabilizer out on one end.after i lengthened the front,i adjusted the top till it dropped back in place.it made a big difference in mine.after 2 trips to the dealer, the owner of the place rode mine.after we got back,he told me what to do to fix my problem.he stated that the motor company wouldnt let the service dept. align it because it was within specs.

What is this "front stabilizer", an after market piece?

So here's my question - did it happen before the mods? Harley's are not symmetrical, the primary is on the left side and I think that in addition to whatever might be in your bags which is not perfectly balanced either. I think that's your answer.

My 08 road king used to pull to the left too...i put 15 pounds worth of tools in the right bag...tracks straight as an arrow now. Honest to god thats what worked. I of course checked all the mounts, bearings ECT first lol.

There is a specific procedure for fork alignment when installing axle, etc. It can be found online. You have to use a ?/? inch drill bit ran through the hole in right side axle to hold axle steady while tightening the axle nut on the left side, then pull right side fork out (they flex a bit) til it just touches drill bit, remove bit and tighten pinch bolts. If you assemble all, torque pinch bolts first, then torque axle nut it pulls the forks out of alignment. Sounds odd, but this procedure is in my HD service manual.

Might be worth checking that you have the fork tubes seated in the upper fork bracket.

I think BackRoader is backwards on which way to position the right fork when getting ready to tighten the axel holder nuts. You sure don’t want the fork away from the spacer with room for the axel to move. See step 9.

I noticed while riding my new 2019 Road King yesterday, cruise on and hands off the bars, it wants to steer ever so slightly to the left as well. Like I said, new bike, new tires, no mods.
If I shifted to the right side of the saddle a bit, tracked straight.

I'm going with the asymmetrical theory. That, or I'm sitting crooked on the bike
