Well, it's been almost seven weeks and I still have not received the two clearview shields I ordered. Anyone else seeing the same? Or, anyone lucked out and got theirs earlier than promised?
I t took about that long for me about 2 years ago.. They are worth the wait. They have to make everything, nothing in stock. Shouldn't be too much longer.
They pretty much are up front about the delay on some models, I ordered one for my 07 Road King and he told me it would be 3-3 1/2 wks and that the Road Kings were coming quicker that other models...supply and demand I guess. It has been a week and I look fwd to getting it. At least the feedback on the product is very good. It would be sad if everyone was saying" Yeah, right on, they are slow and when you get it it is a piece of crap".....instead of " it takes a while, but it is worth the wait.".like the signs in the long no passing zones on the way to the Florida Keys......" Patience Pays"
What makes them better than the factory windshields?
That said, my factory shield has all kinds of strange rainbow-colored clouds around the edges and at all three points where it's screwed to the fairing. It's especially noticeable when riding into the sun. Anybody else have a problem like this with factory plastic?
