2006 FLHTCUI ultra classic- Unusual Speedometer Problem
Hello to all.. I am new here and also new owner of 2006 Electra glide Ultra Classic. I have very unusual speedometer problem.
Speed is going to full speed(120ml/h) already when i go slow.. and also odo is because of this going fast up.
I did not run yet diagnostic procedure, but i changed the speedo sensor with the new one. I also tried to change with new original speedometer, but
the result is just the same.
Any ideas? Please help me if you already had problem like this.
i chacked the grounds behind the battery and are ok
voltage regulator is working ok
-check engine light is comming and going on!
You really need to go through diagnostics for that problem, although if you've tried replacing both the speed sensor and speedo itself, they only thing left in the speedometer 'circuit' is the ECM. Speed sensor data is sent to the ECM which in turns sends it out on the Serial Data line which goes to the speedo, tach, data link, radio, possibly more, can't think off the top of my head. I would check for a wire rub in the front fairing, there is a large loom section that sits above the radio, feeds the speedo, tach etc, they are quite infamous for rubbing against the edge of the inner fairing main support, in particular the right hand side (if you were sitting on bike). Other than that, you'd have to work through diagnostics.

i checked the codes and they are like this:
- P No Rsp( no response)
- B1121 left turn out fault
-U1255 missing response at tssm/missing response at speedometer( have to check if all conections are ok)
-U1097 loss of speedometer serial data at tssm
i will check what i can find out if i check the wires and the tssm module.
