Take it apart and match the pins to work. You only need a couple, so if need be, file the longest ones.

can only speak for the gas door, but I'm led to believe all our keys can open them!

The ignition (and the bags) are coded. Goto a dealer with your VIN and they can pull up the code on screen.... then they can order coded locks

Did it 2 weeks ago.

Walked into my local dealer to get a gas door lock as mine was playing up... they happened to have one in stock. When I questioned 'so hows that gonna work with MY key?' it seemed the lock had a specific 4digit code on the end, which was different to mine.
Tried to order THAT part but with my key code and the system wouldn't allow it to be entered. Called another member of staff.

After much discussion we put my key straight into the unwanted lock they had in stock and it turned fine! pulling the black pin back as it should

She then recalled that gas doors where all the same in her experience, but ignitions (and bags) require an appropriate code (hence why the system allows them to be ordered with the appropriate key code)

YMMV

Not all locks can be ordered as a service part.
