Ooh yeah today is the day! I got my Ohlins shocks, and my sundowner SG seat along with some sunshine, and now, with maybe the help of my HDForum family, we can make my bike great again.
I'll check back with you as soon as I run into something I cant figure out. The first thing on the list, is a bath, it is filthy.
Ahhhhhh..... Working on the bike (for improvement) is always fun, especially if you can go for a ride in the sunshine after. Lucky you!
Me??? I think it's going to be a while
Sreve.... I feel your pain.... we only got 4-5", but still.... can't ride in the snow. Won't ride in the salt. Don't care for the sub-freezing temps. So here we sit....waiting impatiently for March!!!
Yeah, these long winters suck. The snow should be gone some time mid-March, but the salt won't be gone 'til a while after that.
Back to the OP's thread - sorry to derail it a bit.
6 gun.... have you got those shock on yet?
Not yet, I just now got through washing, chrome polishing, black leather dying, leather conditioning, and waxing.
I just set down for a cup of coffee, kinda like a break time, however if I am not back in fifteen minutes, I wont eat my *** out, or fire myself LOL

So far I have done 2 sets of aftermarket shocks. Total time to swap was less than 15 minutes. Come on man, change them then take a ride!!!
