Hi guys, me again. Project #1 finished, now for the second I wanted to do this winter. I really should wait a month or so to spread these out, but I can ask for opinions and suggestions NOW. After this, the bike is DONE.
2014 RK stage 1. I wanna put dual header on. Considered just de-catting, but I think the dual header looks nicer. What you guys running. I already have Cobra NH muffler's on it from my Stage1 upgrade, they will be used on the new header. Thanx in advance.
Running the V&H True Duels / Duals <- on mine ( Cross Thread Points ) , love the the sound , and I don't see much loss in power . Make sure you use the proper exhaust gaskets , and make sure you tighten to the correct torque spec and then re tighten after they cool off . Make sure you check your manual for the correct torque secs , I believe you tighten the top nut using only half the torque spec , then tighten the bottom nut to the full torque spec , then finish the top to the correct torque ... someone will correct me if I'm wrong .

Man , I love working on bikes , enjoy !
What muffler's you running? Did you have those b4 you did the headpipes?
When I first got my King , I decatted the stock header and ran the oem slip ons , not loud enough , but ran much cooler . Later on , I picked up a set of SE Street Cannons and modified a set of Crusher Mellow Baffles to fit and then added the True Duels , perfect ... nice deep rumble and has a pretty good roar when you get on it . The NH slip ons are a good choice , probably what I would have gone with if I hadn't have succeeded with the SE mod .
