Default LED lights causing radio interference !

I have a 2008 Ultra ,added headlight and auxiliary BULBS , instead of the sealed lights. Now i can only pick up local radio stations. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem? Thanks

Yep I have. Put LED fog lights on my pickup, cheap ones, and when on, I get radio interference. Shut them off and stations come back.

I had this happen when I had the hidden antenna. When back to the stock antenna and problem solved.

I went back with factory bulbs for now, thought about tring those ferrite chokes.
I sure dont want to spend the big bucks on the sealed LEDs if they are going to do the same thing !

How did you have it wired? Interference is most commonly a grounding problem.

Not on my bike but I did try some LED bulbs in my old pickup and yes, they did wreak havoc on radio reception. Probably because they were cheap online H-7 replacements made by starving Asian kids over in riceville.

Default Leds

Some cause the interference some don't . Doesn't matter how much they cost either, had my dealer install the best ones in the market, they tried to resolve the issue working with the manufacturer and could not resolve the problem after a full day and numerous communication. I left it with manufacturer I may run the bike to them this spring for them to try to resolve.. Really like to have full LED, but not with the radio issues..
