I have Custom Dynamics all around the bike, except for a Truckllight LED headlight and have absolutely no problems
This is because you get what ya pay for. I ran knock off Halo lights on a Road Glide and could not listen to radio for the interference. Now with Custom Dynamics, not a problem.
I have LED headlight and spot lights, no Interference with the radio. Installed the LED turn signals, the best made, without naming the manufacturer as they are good folks and tried very hard to solution the issue. It was the turn signals that cause the radio Interference when you activate them. Maybe shielding would help ? In my cause I don't want to attempt to resolve, because once I take the lights out of the dealership they will not allow a return..I wanted them to install the lights, which they did and could not resolve.. Hopefully I will be able to take the bike directly to the light manufacturer to see if they can. The bike is a 012 model year FLHTCU.
It interferes with the radio somewhat. I dont listen to the radio enough to care.
If I cared Id buy a higher quality lamp from a place with a liberal return policy. If the new light caused interference Id return it and try another one.
I think i found the problem!
I was bored so went to the garage to try to figure out this LED lighting problem,so i pull the headlight to put in bulb ,one more time. Applied bulb same as i did before. But before putting it back in housing ,i tried it by turning key on, and to my surprise ,no static came through speakers. So looking inside fairing ,through headlight bucket ,i see a bright red light. The previous owner must have installed a hidden powered antenna, that i was unawear of.
So wires from headlight bulb were actually laying ON the antenna, causing my problem.
sometimes its the simple things we ,or I , overlook.
Thanks to all ,for your help !
