i'm going to see how the 124 is once it's all back together and once it's tuned. I'm just curious since I'm always looking to get more out of the bike. I also figured the change would be less harmful on components other then the belt and rear tire. My dealer was telling people about this option during a Baker Drive Train demonstration they had a few weeks ago. Lots of people bought DD7s and grudge boxes along with dropping a tooth or two on pulleys.
You don't need to mess with the gearing on an M8. The power curve on these engines is very forgiving and you'll have all you need with the added cubes and cam.
I know it'll have more power then the 117ci big bore I had on it before but i'm thinking for the future if I want more out of the bike. I drag race a supercharged/nitrous fed GTO so i enjoy LOTS of torque. I don't want to add a procharger or trask setup to the bike since the amount of work to hold the power made by either system would be astronomical. On a side note I did find that Baker has an RPM calculator on their website and it seems like dropping one or two teeth wouldn't make a huge change in RPMs if changing the SF pulley from a 32 down to a 31 or 30. https://bakerdrivetrain.com/pages/ca...e-rpm-vs-speed
