Default Switched power source...

On both of my 02 and 05 Dyna's I used the BE (blue) wire to the rear running taillight for switched power. I want to splice into the rear running light on my 2013 Road Glide Ultra, is the BE (blue) still a viable switched power wire?

Look for an orange wire with a white stripe for switched power. I have used this wire on my 2011 RK and my brothers 2013 RK.

I'm not sure about the BE wire, but you could also try the accessory plug under your seat. The green requires the ignition to be on or in ACC. The orange is switched to both the ignition and accessory switch.

The BE (Blue) wire would be power for the running/tail light on the 2013 Road Glide Ultra

Thanks 14GuineaPig, I knew I could use the Deutsch plug under the seat but I'd rather save that plug for something that would need to be switched on/off and not require constant power. Thinking about adding a volt monitoring gauge that uses LEDs from red to green for failing voltage levels. I have them on my Dynas and they work like a champ.

I have the Y-splitter on that ACC plug. I have an RK and use a dedicated USB connector for charging my phone or powering a GPS on one and to power my detachable batwing fairing on the other when I use that. Cleaner connections IMO, but splicing and dicing like you're doing results in the same.
