I just ordered mine with the standard baffel, I can always get the quiet one later, but I was told that if I got the quiet one first and then wanted the performance one later it was going to cost alot more then goind the other way first, check the price differents before you buy.
I like my std baffle. Some areas have more noise issues than others. We do not have that problem here... at least not yet.
Volume of either one is directly proportionaly to "how much" motor ya got. More compression, aggressive timing & overlap make them much louder than a mild build.
I have the quiet baffle and am very happy with it.
Just did 425 miles today and it was plenty loud for me at 80+ mph.
I have a standard baffle also that the previous owner opened up and packed with packing, it was pretty quiet.....almost more quiet then the quiet baffle.
