I have owned my 08 Ultra Classic for over 12 years, I have tried all know fixes to get rid of the annoying squeaking noise from the rubber mounts at the rear of the mufflers. I have tried lubrication, zip ties, shimming the mounts with coins and replacing the mounts. Everything I have tried has only provided temporary relief from this noise. Today I replaced the mounts again but instead of using the original style mounts I bought mounts made for a Tri-Glide part #84021-10. I have attached 3 pictures, the first pic shows the old and new mounts side by side, the Tri-Glide mounts are twice as long as the originals. At first I was concerned that the new mounts would slide forward or backwards because they do not have a lip on the edge of them like the originals, but I found when installing them that the longer mounts are trapped between the metal mounting bosses on the mufflers, this is shown in the last picture. The original mounts are about $4 each and the Tri-Glide mounts are about $8 each. I figured what the hell, for $8 more maybe i will get a longer lasting solution for this common noise.
Ugh. I feel your frustration. My 03 RK had the same issue. In the end, I learned to live with it and it didnt bug me anymore. There were a lot of little squeaks and rattles that would come up because of her age, but motor was still solid and she gave me 117k on the clock, so I just kept on riding.
Report back with your long term findings. If the compounds are the same, I suspect the issue will eventually resurface regardless of length. The aftermarket offers polyurethane replacements that are reported to stop the squeaks. $15 apiece as I recall.

I looked at the Kundratic Kustom mounts, but they are over $41 with shipping and tax, price alone is not the only reason I choose not to try them. a few years ago I bought a high dollar polyurethane front engine mount for my bike. It looked great, shiny red polyurethane and bright shiny hardware, but it ended up being a POS, I don't think it lasted 2 years, it was way to soft and the bike felt loose the whole time it was on my bike..It finally split and was causing vibration and handling issues so I went back to a stock Harley mount for half the price.
If someone has had the Kundratic Kustom exhaust mounts on for a few years, maybe they can chime in and let me know if they really are as good as they claim.
Of course I have no idea if the Tri-Glide mount will provide a long term solution but you never know unless you try. Time will tell...

I tried the Kundratic Kustom mounts and ended up eventually going back to the stock ones. On one of the Kundratic Kustoms mounts the bracket wore through the material. Kundratic Kustom did stand by their product and sent me a replacement. I believe it the exhaust system is perfectly lined up without any vertical or lateral pressures at the rear mount they may hold up.
