Default Anyone Regretted buying LED Headlight?

Been on the fence on what brand of non adaptive led headlight to buy for my 2009 flhrc. I know I want to upgrade but the choices and price ranges are overwhelming.

Sunpie is the low end yet have 4+ rating. Can I believe it is that good? < $100

Mid range are Hogsworkz, Cyron, and Pathfinder, < $200

High range are jw speaker, HD branded, at <$400

The Cadillac (feel the tugging at my wallet) is Custom Dynamics @ $450

Warranties are all over the place too. From 90 days to life time, jw speaker is 5 yrs

my questions to current led owners; did you buy a low or mid range product and were disappointed in the product?

It seems like any solution is at least 2x better than oem. Some reviewers have complained about ‘shadows’ in the beam projection. Are the shadows as annoying as stated?

Curious what current owners experience has been and whether or not you upgraded to the Cadillac line to satisfy your expectations?

Many reviewers eventually upgraded to the Cadillac line. Is that my destiny too?

I went sunpie and have no regrets. Love it! At the same time though I would keep the stock HL before i spent 400 on one HL.

I took went SunPie on my '09 FLHRC. Been running it for 10k+ miles with no issues or regrets. Lights up everything real good on low beam. High beam is kinda lackluster, but the aux lights on with the high beam made it work pretty well, for me.

Get the Sunpie, low cost, quality light.
A regretted getting the 7" Truck Light.
It was so heavy it snapped the brackets on the headlight from vibration.

I just cleaned the inside of the glass on my OEM headlight using a pencil, cotton ball and some alcohol. It is at least 25% brighter. There are several videos on youtube.

No way, LED is the only way to go. Love mine. I went with Vision X. Pricey, but well worth it in my opinion.

Did you have to replace the mounting ring for your 2009?

I did. Bought it with the SunPie for like $15 or something like that. Some have had luck strategically cutting up their stock one, but I didn't want to go down that road.

I put a VisionX on my Street Glide, and recently put a Sunpie on my wifes Sportster because of all the guys claiming its the greatest thing since sliced bread. So far, the Sunpie seems to work just fine.
