How do you keep the air hose for the suspention locked in place? I pushed the hose all they way in, slid the red thing over and in, but it just falls out.

Help.! Please.!

Pushing in the red connector is what releases the air line, just push the line all the way in and then pull back lightly, it should be locked in, if you push in on the red connector it will release.

Here is what I have tried..

Pushing in the red thing first, then inserting the hose. No good. I tried the hose first, the sliding the red thing in. No good. I tried both at the same time. Nope. WtF? I haeva couple other little things I'm ticked off about, but this is desperately needed info atm.

Thanks for trying!

cut a 1/4" off the air line first to get a fresh end, you have to push fairly hard to get it to go in all the way, about 1/2" and a little slobber helped, (ok, I know that is a good set-up for jokes ) I think there's an oring inside that seals to the air line that you have to get the line through, then pull OUT on the red thingy while pushing IN slightly on the tube to lock the air tube in place, then give the tube a little tug to verify that it's locked in.
good luck, lemme know if that works,
K.

As of now, tighter than is was any other time, but I am sure I could easily tug it out.

Another problem? No air. I tried pumping the shocks with a bicycle pump, but the gauge just kept reading zero.

Sigh..

Help!

Argh, this is making me nuts. I read in another thread about an o-ring? I don't see an o-ring, anywhere. I see inside of where the tube is supposed to go, but there is a metal peice in there, and I do not see any o0rings on the floor.

Yeah, I appreciate that, however, that is not the problem. The tubes will not stay seated in the red valve things, and when I CAN get it to somewhat stay, it will not seal. I am wondering if the metal inside that plastic valve thingie is broke..

your push in connector appears to be defective.
you should only have to push the hose in til it stops.
It is then self locking.
You push down on the red release flange only to remove the hose.
These particular fittings I have only found at HD dealers.
However, take the fitting and hose with you to any large over the road
truck facility and they may be able to match you up with one.
Big trucks use all different sizes and styles.
But perhaps someone here knows another outlet for the OEM style.
