Default Handle Bar Bushings

Getting ready to swap my stock bars out with a set of Paul Yaffe 10" Monkey bagger bars. The last time I did a bar swap I changed the stock bushings to a poly material bushing. This was in 2006 and my mechanic recommended it. I'm not in contact with him anymore so I'll ask here. I have a 2015 Ultra with about 16,000 miles on it. Besides the exhaust and tuner it's stock. Advise will be appreciated.

I wouldn't say it's necessary for a bike as new as that and bars that low, but if you feel like it, it's a cheap improvement.

For the 14 bucks the poly drag specialties bushings cost just do it. Takes 10 minutes my friend.

I did on my Sg when I put my 10" LA Chopper bagger bars on. The bike was 2 yrs old. For all the more they cost I would.

When I used the Arlen Ness bushings on a recent bar job, I used a 2.25" bolt to replace the stock ones. Probably not necessary, but made me feel better.

I'm just seeing this. The bushings when in great and the stock bolt was good. I was able to get a good bite on the risers. It should be ok.
