Bike looks real nice maybe on the high end of price. So if its a bike you want go for it, if you don't like it sell the bike and maybe make a few bucks.
seems like its in good shape. Im gunna go for it and see what happens. Either way Ill post up when I get the deal done and get it home
Mine is a somewhat stripped down EG. I like! SG does not have the bag guards, front fender trim, passing lamps and lots of other chrome stuff, but they do have a clean look. Your missus will like the EG seat much better than the SG seat for sure.
Sled is worth about 7k right before winter, right now with the warm weather I dont even have a nibble with it listed for the past month or so. Appreciate the help on the value
With the winters we've been having, I'd expect sled prices to tank. I bought a '16 Renny Adrenaline 800 Etec 137" with less than 800 miles for $7k last year. That's a near brand new sled at half what the guy paid for it, (with taxes).
i'd just take the tour pack off , put it back on if you go for a multi day trip . if a Street Glide is what you really want just wait for one to show up at a price you like . especially if you don't mind one 10 years old .
I stripped my Electra glide classic down. I did bullet turn signals quick detach tour pak street glide wheels and windshield and added lowers looks almost just like a street glide and was fun to work on. I didnt do it all at once just here and there but I like it. But I do use the tour pak a lot more thank I thought I would.

Appreciate that, im looking forward to getting it home
I've been searching for a street glide but all options seem to be out of my current price range. A guy wants to trade me a 2010 Electra Glide for the snowmobile im trying to sell. Is it worth it to strip it down to get more of a SG look? Snowmobiles are hard to sell this time of year or else I would just hold out, but I would like to take some trips the year with the girlfriend. I was thinking a SG as I mostly do day trips but the touring pack may be nice. I know it would be a little bit of money to slick it down but I'd still be in it less than buying a SG right out at this point... thoughts? Maybe some photos to inspire. I've been searching forums for hours trying to make up my mind
Buy a quick release docking kit and a street glide seat and you have 2 bikes in 1 and it takes about 10 minutes to change back and forth.
