Has anyone had this happen to their pipes or know why?? I just bought these Rush pipestwo months ago. I hope you can see the pictures...

I've had mine about a month and I have nothing like that. Just as they were the day I got them, so far. Looks like a bad chrome job.

 

Im assuming something in the plating process is what is causing that. Although normally you see big chunks flaking off. I am sure someone on htis board knows exactly what the problem is.

Id contact the manufacture on Monday and tell them you could email them pics.

 

To me, it almost looks like a plastic bag or something has melted to the pipes, but could just be the photo. Maybe get them hot jetted?

 

I was trying to look at the pics in relation to the peg mount...

do you give the ole lady rides? does she wear heels? I think this almost might be damage from a boot or heel... maybe not[&:]

 

Had mine for about 4-6 months and they look as good as new.
You have a chrome warranty through Rush.
Call them and send Adam the pictures.
Due to the Rush back orders, you may have to wait a while for replacements though.
