Bike looks amazing Redbeard...simply STUNNING! Love that color!!! I am a fan of the new Limited front fender emblems so I do miss seeing those on the wrap-around fender. I realize space is an issue there but if those emblems attach with 3M double sided tape maybe give consideration to adding them at the bottom rear of your new CVO style saddlebags. You've done a hell of a job putting this all together can't wait to see the finished product.
Thanks! I was thinking about something with those emblems because they are indeed attached with 3M doublesided tape. They won't fit on the fender without looking odd, but the bottom corners of the saddlebags might look cool. I'll have to see how easily I can get them off the fender. New emblems are about $50/each.
I'm anxious for the bags to come. I already received them once, but there was two separate issues. One box had been dropped and broke the bag significantly. Glad I had bought the insurance when I placed that ordered. The second bag was the right part number, but the package had been sent from MOCO with a standard bag.
Both have been reordered, but with MOCO shutdown painted parts are on hold.
Don't forget your other sleds. "Old Red" looks a little upset getting pushed to the back of the garage being blocked behind cardboard boxes for the "New Mistress"! (jk)

Haha! "Old Red" is like the grown up in the garage. Still gets goodies, but now they're not so much the fun toys. This winter she got a new pair of American Elites, Red Calipers and new brake pads, a new rear brake switch, new heat shields and crossover P-clamp.
And as I type this she's on the jack getting an oil change too!
Tonight I picked up the parts from the painter. This Zephyr Blue is just such a cool color. The more I look at it, the more I love it.
A bit of the back story on this saddlebag bottom - Extended bags were ordered but this one was dropping along the way, cracking the bottom corner pretty badly. A replacement was ordered and the damaged one was mine to do with as I wanted. Worked out in the end because it was helpful for my painter to have it to figure out exactly how MOCO painted this color. And he was able to use the back of the bag to figure out the Black Sunglo. The rings you see on the first photo of the bag are the different layers of primer, base, candy, clear, etc. Kinda cool.
Which BTW, Black Sunglo is an actual color by itself from another time - not just an accent color on this 2020 paint scheme. Not that it's uncommon for MOCO to recycle paint names for entirely different colors.
Hoping to get to work on getting this back together this week. We'll see...
You found yourself a great painter there Redbeard! Parts are looking awesome!!! When I suggested trying your Limited
fender emblems on the saddlebags to see how they look I had this pic from GT580 in mind. I really like the placement of those CVO emblems at the rear of the bags and you clearly don't have the real estate on that wrap around front fender. So many nice bikes on this forum lately...that CVO looks sharp also!
