My buddy loves his fat cat sound and performance wise but his ghost pipe gave way where it enters the fake can. Only 18 months on the bike D&D won't warranty it.
The bobcat is the short pipe and completely different than the fatcat. Id also like to hear from folks with bobcat. I would think its going to fall short on the low end compared to the longer pipes.

Getlowered.com tested the Bob Cat with only a stage I. Looks like pretty good numbers. I'm currently running one and I like the sound
The previous owner installed a d&d fatcat on my bike. After I bought the bike I replaced it with a stock decatted header and Vance and Hines tapered mufflers because I prefer the look of two mufflers out the back instead of one and I also didn't like the fact that you have to take the d&d exhaust off to get the transmission side cover off to change the clutch fluid.
I could tell no performance difference at all between the d&d exhaust and the stock decatted header and Vance and Hines tapered mufflers. With all that being said, I would never personally spend what d&d wants for their 2into1 exhaust.
Just my personal experience.
