I experienced the exact opposite on the road glide test. I got beat to s#!t on the interstate, my head was whipping like a bobble head around trucks. It literally felt like my helmet was gonna get lifted off my head. I tried closing and opening vents but it was all the same. To the OP....ride em both and don't worry about our opinions
I actually own a Roadglide, just stirring the pot, Ive been locked down too long and bored.
I have had several batwings beginning in the 90’s and switched to a Road Glide in 2012. Agree with the comments about the Road Glide lighter feel similar to a Road King. I switched to a 2019 Ultra Classic and like it a lot; I like the closeness of the instruments and touch screen whereas the Road Glide has a more open cockpit. The batwing front end does feel heavier and IMO tad more planted than the Road Glide. If the Road Glide Ultra had been available without water cooling I probably would have bought one.

The stock windshield is horible. That all went away with my Klock Werks replacement.
I will probably end up with a RG, but I would like to hear more feedback on passenger comfort from the wind. The windshield protects the driver pretty good, but I hear a lot of complaints from the passengers. I don't know what windshields they are using, but as long as my wife wants to ride, I have to consider her comfort.
I went to a Windvest Windscreen, eliminated the Buffeting the wife had felt behind the stock shield. Same height just has a fold back lip at top and moves air up higher, this is on a 2012 and quite happy enough to have a replacement sitting in the shop when scratches get too bad.
I used a Madstad type windshield on my 2012 RG. On my 2017 RGS I used a Klock Werks that worked really well; they have different heights to choose from.
