I was thinking about getting some heads with ACRs for my 09. Would it be possible to go a step further and put liquid cooled Rushmore heads on an older Twinkie?
Be interesting some one has done this, although I don know what benefit you would get and the it would probably be cost prohibitive. But if one has enough money almost anything can be accomplished
Good topic...I am not 100% certain but I think it's going to easier and more cost effective to just find a set a 103 ACR takeoffs (non Rushmore). My advice is to keep shopping here on the Forum, they pop up all the time.
Back in 2018 I scored these NEW takeoffs from the Forum here, I think I paid around $350 + shipping. They've been sitting in my garage for 2 years, but I just ordered and rec'd the ACRs and ACR harness from Surdyke as the heads are being shipped to Fuel Moto at the end of May for "B Porting". My bike is being picked up by a transporter late June for the trip to Fuel Moto for the long anticipated 107 upgrade!
