Led and load leveler
I installed can-bussed CIRO filler plate lights. They work great.
So why wont my 2014 lights work normally?
The hyperflash is caused by a low load detection in the BCM flash circuit. The low load is an indicator of a burned out incandescent light bulb....
With LEDs, the load is always much smaller than with incandescent bulbs, and the BCM reads the lower load as a burned out incandescent bulb.... thus a switch to LEDs causes the hyperflashing..
The BCM learning procedure is supposed to teach the BCM the new normal load, and alleviate the hyper flash..
If you did the steps correctly, and the dash light still hyper flashes, do you have any incandescent bulbs in the turn signals that could have a bulb burned out somewhere....?
Assuming it worked correctly before any bulb installations, there are no burned out bulbs, and the BCM isn't learning from the sync procedure; either you are not doing the learn/sync procedure correctly, you wired your can-bussed CIRO filler plate lights incorrectly, or perhaps there is a problem with the BCM...
I can't think what else it could be.... some others may see what I am missing...
Good luck with the repair..
