I called Milwaukee Harley to verify the bike is there and to see if they would negotiate. The bike is still there, and they said the price is 22999 and its the clearance price...

Woodstock Harley is closer (not by much) and has a 2018 red Limited thats new also. The bike is still there and the price is 28049, but they may negotiate down a bit. I clarified that I was calling about a 2018. Same price. They have 2020 Limiteds with the 114 engine for 32k...

My nearest dealer is closed today, but they have a 2017 Limited with 11k miles for 18999. I will see if they are more willing to negotiate tomorrow. Or a 2015 Limited with 44k miles for 15,500.

Woodstock is maybe a solid crappy hour drive from me, and Milwaukee is a good 1.5 hour drive on the tollways. I would like to know how flexible they are going to be before driving out there. Maybe I didnt ask the right question, or I am not in the inner circle, but I got the feeling from both that they were doing me a favor by calling them.

Just venting I guess. Last 2 Harleys I bought were a breeze. I felt like I was a customer and a friend and actually made me spend more than I wanted each time. Maybe everyone is buying now since they have nothing else to do and/or a stimulus check and dealers are too busy.
Not gonna lie I scoped it out but everything it comes with over a street glide special Id have to replace to get rid of all the chrome. DAMN. If I could only like chrome as much as some people that bike would be a steal. The also have free shipping.

Why would you spend 20 grand on a color you dont like? Be patient bro, keep looking until you find one you go ooooooooooh over.

Zing!!

No regrets here though

LOL at a 2018 for $28k. That 2015 might be good at $15,500 if it had 10,000 miles. That bike is less than $12k with 44k
