I am done with LRS but thanks for the offer. I will go back to a taller shield and look thru it before I spend $400 on another gamble. If the fangs you are talking about are the ones on the fairing, I already have those bit not the ones on the forks.
I have a 9" standard shield that should be here this afternoon so will see how it goes.

Might I suggest some careful experimentation with relocating your head, and see what that tells you. If sitting up straight with your head two inches higher helps, then a two inches shorter shield should do well for you. You can also experiment with taped up lips to see if the air flip pleases you, or not.
As mentioned above, cutting down the stock shield is quite doable, and free.

LOL Boy someone could REALLY take that comment for a ride, lol, as in get your head out of.......fill in the blanks. Of course if it were up there, I doubt there would be any buffeting. Would be nice n smooth, just couldn't see worth a darn.
I have a stock height and a 14" long ride shield collecting dust. You pay shipping and they are yours no charge.
I will take the long ride shield if your absolutely sure you don't mind parting with it. I know it can be a bear to pack up and ship awkward size items. If you don't mind if definitely take it.
Ha LRS so "carefully" packed mine in thin foam and a plastic bag. It didn't arrive damaged but when I sent the first one back, the post office about threw a fit when they heard what was in it. I ended up going to a different office and not saying it was fragile. Was returning in exact same pkg it came in.
