My Hy-Lift Johnson lifters came today, ordered 2313SLE and the box has 842SEL written on the outside..... Larry doesn't seem to respond to emails or calls

 

I am running the 842SE from Larry. Difference between the 2313 and 842, as provided to me by Larry:

"The 842SE pumps about 10% more oil to the top end otherwise they're the same lifter."

 

Thanks, he replied to an email stating the same, I have to send one lifter back, on lifter roller had a bad spot on the roller surface,,, the grinder clean up dimension was unable to grind a low spot and stay with the OD tolerance... so I get to mail one back at my cost, so they can swap it out,...

 

While it would not rub on me sufficiently to put my fist through the wall, I would not be a happy camper

I had been looking at a set Of Jim's new in the box mfg date 2015 on ebay for 415.00. glad I saw your misfortune, not that I am happy about it. Just goes to reinforce my coin toss. Give this some research. every one I've talked to is happy, happy happy with WTO Larry,,

 

I'm just getting started with Larry. I called and left a message 12-30-2021 @2:49 pm, he returned my call @4:47 pm same day. I'll see what he sends me but for now. all good.
