We are planning on going to Knoxville(from Detroit area)in Aug. for the HOG thing. We planned on taking US127 and US 27 as much as possible in order to stay off the xway. Was looking at a map and saw US 25 out of Corbin Ky to US421 to Tn 61E looked interesting. Any of you guys familiar with this route. or maybe a better more scenic route ?

I'm not familiar with all of that route but 421 is a nice road. A couple years ago we took it from Bristol, TN all the way up into central Indiana. I'm still deciding if I'm going to the HOG thing or not.
