Need Michigan info
Im heading to Michigan next week and would like to know if there is a paved road connecting Cross Village and Mackinaw City that goes through Wilderness S.P. that follows the shoreline. I thought I saw something here before about this but cant find it. Thanks for any info.

I had planned my trip using a HOG map book but there isn't enough detail to tell what is there. I did find Lakeshore Drive heading into Wilderness S.P. on MapQuest but I cant tell what is past there and if the road is paved. Thank you.

I was up in that area last year. I only got to WSP as close as Cecil Rd. and Wilderness Park Rd. and it was paved. Its been a few years since I stayed at the park but I believe it was paved all the way. Make sure you get some Fudge in Mackinaw City.

I rode through there last week, Lakeshore Drive to Lakeview Rd then to Gill Rd is paved. Not great, but not horrible. Cecil Bay Rd off of Gill will take you to Wilderness Park right into Mackinaw. I believe it is paved, but I DID NOT take it. Everything appeared to be paved heading that way.

Lakeshore Drive is paved but it is sandy in spots, really nice undeveloped beach along there. Runs from Cross Village to Lakeview Rd which turns into Gill Rd, take Cecil Bay Rd north to Wilderness Park Dr east to Central east which takes you into Mackinaw City. Lots of deer in the area so keep an eye out for them all along that stretch including M119. I'll be up that way the middle of next week myself.
