I got a Advanblack chopped tour pack and set it up solo. I have a 2020 SG in Stiletto Red. The Pack is definitely a darker red than Harley which sucks but what I find just as bad is how unflexible I am to mount the bike in solo mode.
A two-up mount may be in my future. I did try to step on the right floorboard first and that seemed a little better. I also got Advanblack heat shields and the paint was closer but the metallic wasnt the same. Probably done with buying from them.
Were you able to slide the TP far enough forward for back support with out making a spacer to go under the TP?
I ordered a Razor TP to do this solo setup as well, it has no arrived yet, but I wonder if the TP needs to be raised up @ 1/2" and slide forward or not?
HD does not sell my color so I had no choice, unless I bought a primered TP and then I'd have to search for a local painter in hopes of matching the color.

I was able to barely slide it forward far enough as a back rest but I bought it used here on the forum and not sure if the spacer I got came with it. Its a inch or so thick of aluminum bar stock with holes in it for screws. It definitely for sure has to be raised a little. Even with the spacer I have to push down the lid openers on the bags to clear the tour pack when opening them. I will post pics of them when I can. Just got back from an all day ride. I love that I could put my to-go dinner in the tour pak on the way home.

The spacer mine came with had adjustable slots to move it forward or back. Heres a quick pic with it mounted.

Thank you, I have some 1" thick and 1/2" thick aluminum bar stock, so it looks like I should be OK,,,, I will take pics when the TP comes in, its gonna be a month before I get it
OP - FWIW - try mounting the bike (left or right) by stepping on the passenger floorboard and swinging your leg over. Like putting your foot in a stirrup to mount a horse.
That's how I get on my '16 FLHTK when I have my pack on. Of course mine is set up for two up, unlike yours.
Advanblack will take that pack back and get a better color match no issues, there is an Advanblack facebook group and you see the sales reps there taking care of issues all the time. Luckily my tourpack/ extended side covers and tank covers all matched perfect.
Advanblack did a good job matching my lowers to my 2018 SGS Hard Candy Red Flake. Maybe they're just hit and miss.
They are 12 bars. I think they actually measure 12.5.
I think they match close enough. Im not leaving it on all the time. I love the extra storage though.
