I understand the Road Glide fairing angle was changed in 2004. Can anyone who has ridden or owned both give me riding impressions. Can you tell any difference?

From reading reviews I get the feeling the change was made to give the bike more downforce at higher speeds.
And, what's involved in changing to the new angle on a 1998 model.
