Default Ignition STUCK

I have a 2017 SG I installed my paul yaffe bars which required me to pull the ignition switch that you spin in order to start the bike when I pulled it out the ignition it was in the off position I turned the key to the left and pressed in the button which allowed me to remove it, upon installation I put it in the same way I took it out but when I spun it into the lock position after install its now stuck in the lock position and have tried messing with it but it wont budge from the position, I'm not sure on what to do I can put the ket in and turn it and it does nothing

you’re ignition switch is misaligned. Did you turn the key before you rotated the switch?

Yup, as above, misaligned. Need an alignment tool or some have used a long flat-blade screw driver. FYI, in case you need to go back in there again, you do not need to remove the ignition switch to do the bars. There is a notch cut in to the plastic cover, slides right off.

Yeah unfortunately I know this now idk why the instructions from yaffe said to remove it seemed dumb as i was pulling the fairing off
