I gotta pair , ever since I put the " fangs " on , if I ride with my boots up on the pegs the wind blows up my pant legs and rolls them up . If the " fangs " didn't work so well , I'd ditch them and the straps at the same time .

I've had fangs for years on two bikes and never had this problem.

I think it happens to me because I like to ride with my heals on the floorboards with my toes up on the pegs , when the air flow around the fangs , it ends up going straight up my pant legs . I might try and do some adjusting on the pegs , maybe drop them down a little lower and not use the floor boards while I ride .

That , or convert to skin tight jeans ....
I understand. Maybe my highway pegs are lower than yours? I would recommend against tight jeans!
I always knew boot straps to be the leather loops, built into the back or the sides of a pair of boots, that allow you to pull up on the boots when putting them on... They were always a part of the boot, not an accessory....you didn't add them unless of course you're a cobbler...
All the straps, clips, and pant stirrups that have been posted ... I have never seen before...
I've been riding since 1978 was completely surprised by this "accessory"... never knew they existed or why....
Just getting ready to head out for a ride , had a look at the pegs and noticed that I have the clamps lowered as far as they will go , right where the curve starts at the bottom of the crash bar . I might have to pick up a set of adjustable arms to drop the peg a little lower . It's definitely something worth looking into , no tight jeans for me !
