Before I go and pay harley prices for the part they say is the issue I want to get other opinions as to the issue.
last week I went to replace my swingarm mounts and decided that while I have it on the lift to swap out my primary gasket as I had a leak and couldn't tell exactly where it was coming from. While i had the cover off i noticed my compensator spring cover was cracked. I replaced it. Put everything back together and the next day I noticed that when I would go to start the bike it would turn over then stop and sound like air was being pushed through the engine. It would do this a few times then it would start. It would get worse if I have to stop after riding for a while. I did look at everything in the primary for any abnormal ware before reassembly and everything seemed fine. I know what harley states it is want to see if anyone else had a similar issue and solved it.
