Ciro Highway Peg Install

I just started working on this, and the 5/16'' hex bolt that is mounted to the frame seems to be locked to hell. Any suggestions for getting it out? Heat? PB Blaster?

It's a 2020, so there is no bolt on the backside, it's threaded into the frame

I had to put heat to mine to loosen the loctite that is most likely on it stock. It will eventually come out.

Thanks, think hair dryer is enough or will i need to get a heat gun or flame? Should i worry about the black painted frame?

If you're concerned about the paint, hold the tip of a soldering iron to the bolt for a bit. The heat will soften the loctite without damaging the paint.

also, when backing out the bolt, don't just lefty-loosey it all the way out. back it off a little, then run it in a little, alternate that until it's either out, or you can tell that there is nothing binding.
