Default Kuryakyn grip issues?

I am wondering if anyone else is having fit issues with the Kuryakyn Kinetic grips fitting on the throttle by wire side? I have put them on my stock Harley Street Glide bars and all was good. I bought two different 1 1/4" sets of bars. LA Choppers and a set of wild 1's and I bought two different sets of these grips. The throttle side goes on loosely for a few inches and then the grip gets so tight that they need to be forced on and won't turn freely with the throttle by wire.

I thought it was the bars being over chromed but the Harley Davidson grip goes on loosely, with no issues. I measured the bar ends with calipers and they are very close to the stock bars. So close that I can't believe that the Kuryakyn grips must be that much tighter on the inside diameter. Is it that the tolerance is to small with these grips?

Has anyone had issues with Kuryakyn grips on the throttle body side?

Same with me - my 2018 SGS came with these grips on them. On a trip in early July and the damn glue came loose. Replaced them with Harley grips and threw the Kuryakyn grips in the trash.

Unfortunately I also have them on my Springer and love the feel of the grips. They "almost" stay put, but every so often I have to re-orient them...........
