Camshaft bearing thread..............
After I got the bike back from the shop (replaced camshaft bearings and other misc parts), I had decided that I would ride it about 200 miles and change the oil....well I ended up up with 500 miles instead due to an extra ride. Anyway, dropped the plug yesterday, and the oil came out very clean, with no metal, that I could see anyway. Probably more stuff in the filter, but I feel better seeing that. Went with Mobile 1 Syn, and plan to keep it changed often. Oil pressure is better than it ever has been since owning the bike. It stays up even coming up through the gears. They must have adjusted on the bike a bit before letting me have it though, because it seems to idle a bit lower, and I have a bit of popping on decel, as well as I have notice 2 times a blip when hitting the throttle at a stop light. Anything to worry about or adjust?
