You may want to also check your tire pressure gauge. I just replaced mine as it was reading low. That 35 lbs you are reading may even be less. Just something to consider. Ride on!
It is all that extra power that new bike has , shredding that tire carcass. I had that issue with my sport bikes in my youth I would get 3-4000 mile out of tires.
On my 2016 SG I got 19k miles out of the stock Dunlops. I traded that bike for 2018 RGS and got just over 12k on those stock Dunlops but I didn't keep up and the tire pressure like I have in the past
I’m gonna keep an eye on it till I get down to 2/32. I also ride pretty hard, high I cruise at 85, and I like to hit it on the back roads, that Roadglide just wants to go.
For the guy that said put a tube or patch my AE when it picked up a nail......nope not something I wanted to do. I don't consider that wise or safe. In 35+ yrs of riding it's the FIRST time I picked up a puncture....once every 35+ yrs is manageable on my wallet....LOL

There is nothing unsafe to using a tube in a mag wheel if the tire picked up an object.
Spoke wheels still use tubes.....even tubes can still be safely patched. Dirt bikes use tubes...and those tires don’t get replaced if punctured. They either repair the tube or replace the tube.
Using a plug on a tubeless motorcycle tire....that is something I would consider unsafe. That would be the very last resort and only in an Emergency.
So.....please tell me why it’s unsafe to use a tube on a punctured tire?
I’ve got about 6,000 on Michelin C2s. And a lot of that mileage has been in extreme twisties. Even keeping after the tire pressure, I’m thinking I’ll be replacing the front before the rear. Maybe I need to twist the grip more coming out of turns, .
