Default Which Electra Glide

Hi. So I’m deciding on one of these bikes to buy and haven’t a clue. Help me decide which one and for what reasons.

Obviously I’d like to spend less but if the newer model with the 107 vs the 103 is worth the $5k then I’ll take it. Thanks.

2013 Harley-Davidson FLHTK - Electra Glide Ultra Limited, 9k miles, $14K

2019 HARLEY DAVIDSON ELECTRA GLIDE ULTRA CLASSIC (FLHTCU), 20k miles, $19k

Just based solely on the little information you're providing, I'd pick the 2019. That price is about $4K lower than what's showing as "average retail".

The price on the 13 is too high, but if you could beat them down on the price there are advantages to owning a 13 such as not having to go to the dealership for every little thing.

An Independent or DYI can work on a 13 all day long, from 14 up with the CANBUS computer system there is nothing that can be done short of basic maintenance items that does not involve a software change,

I owned a ‘12 FLHTK and it was a great bike, until I bought the ‘17 with the new informant system and better suspension. The ‘19 should have the newer GTS system that allows for Cayplay which is really good when traveling. The M8 is a much smoother running motor that performs very well.
If it fit my budget I would buy the ‘19.
Goos luck in your decision.

I just posted almost the same question but a 2016 Limited or a 2019 Classic.

If I'm not mistake, the GTS is an option for the Ultra Classic.
