I'm looking for a quiet slip on to go with my S&S Power Tune Dual Headers(2-1-2) for a 95" 2004 Road King. Does Supertrapp still have an equivalent to the Screaming Eagle Fatshotz? If so, is there any appreciable difference between the two in terms of performance and noise, and are they both tunable?
I've had both models. They are pretty much the same design and disc size. I ran 12 discs and the end cap. Removing the end cap is like adding 10 discs.
Are the Fatshotz made by Supertrapp?
anyhow, I had the Supertrapp Supermeg exhaust which has a pretty similar muffler. Very quiet at cruise. Little bit of bark on acceleration. When I would start it up at my biker bar it would not turn any heads. Thats how quiet it is.
Supertrapp has been around since 1971. It works, one of the only tunable exhausts out there. I've used FatShotz and other Supertrapp products many times.

I just ordered the Supertrapp Fatshots. I had Supertrapp 2-1 many years ago on my Ultra.
