Default Engine swap
Hey new here but had a question. I bought a wrecked 2017 dyna with screaming eagle 110 and wanted to put that engine in my 2010 street glide. Will it change over.

Yep it will swap over. They are both 07-up alpha engines.

I bought it to buy it. I have three bikes because I like them. My streetglide started blowing smoke so I want to swap engines while I rebuild my streetglide.

I don't believe the Dyna motor will swap to the touring platform...the tranny mount & primary is different. Not 100%, but pretty sure.

​​​​​I've done it. 07-up twin cam alpha engines come in dyna and touring models. You can't swap inner and outer primary's but everything inside except the chain can be swapped.

Well I've pulled both engines so I will let you know. Only way to see if it will work is to try it out. Thanks for the input and I'll keep you guys updated..

Front head will need to be drilled and tapped for the touring engine stabilizer mount.

I think it is the Softail tranny mount that wont work on dynas and touring
