Just proof positive of 2007 owners getting screwed because the word is out on the Clatter Wagon / Whiners. So many bikes left on the floors of dealers because of bad publicity on the 07's, that they have no choice but to "give" them away. How many other years have you seen this glut of bikes on showroom floors and bargain basement pricing??

Personally, I don't think the excess inventory of '07's has anything to do with bad publicity on tranny whine or anything else. Don't forget there was a strike earlier this year and the dealer's inventory is out of whack for the new model year launch. Normally they would be much cleaner right now, but were forced to take more inventory than they expected to late in the model year.
agree; sale of all bikes (and recreation vehicles)have been goingdown for the past years. Got this from bikeworld.com

My local dealer is almost all Dynas with a couple RKs and one SG, a couple V-Rods and Sporty's.It's slim pickens, no 08's and not an EG or RG to be found. Deals on the Dynas only and that is the factory deal. Nothing extra from the dealer.[:'(]
You're slowly talking yourself into making that call. As for the ride, it'd be nice going to OR, but for me riding back to LA means riding across TX in August. Not my idea of fun. Been there, done that.
