My tour pack liner doesn't lay flat all the way around the top of tour pack .
I'm wondering if a little heat & then clamp till cool will flatten it out ? I've
tried velcro but it doesn't help . I know it's minor , but it bugs me .
A buddy of mine had the same issue on his king TP liner on the left side and back. He uses the velcro trick and has not had any issues going about a year now.
However, he did use a little heat prior to the velcro. He used a homemade jig to prop the affected sides outward and applied heat via a blowdryer. This method made the sides fairly straight.
If you use heat, use a hair dryer, and NOT a heat gun. These bags are ABS and it softens at around 220*F. Personally, I would use the hair dryer, and just use a gloved hand to press and hold it. Shouldn't take but a min or so to cool enough to hold the new shape.
I saw a show where a guy was making felt hats, and they used steam machines, to heat, then shaped the hat.

The bag is ABS , but what is the liner made out of ? Fiberglass & felt ?
