Here's my 2020 FLHTK, it looks the same and there are other connectors that are the same. Sounds like it was loose. I've washed my bike a few times as well but have not had any starting issues
And the answer is,, Harley Davidson manufacturing QC failure.
Solenoid Cable notice the wire and the partial wire protector falls short of going directly to the clip. This allowing moisture to enter the connection.
Removed the cable, inpected it for water or damage and re-plugged it in, bike started.
I will have to find a way to create a protector for this wire.

My first thought was moisture. Why can't you use Dielectric grease, or tune-up grease, which is a silicone-based grease that repels moisture and protects electrical connections against corrosion. It is also used to keep dirt, water, and other elements out of electrical connections. It has many uses, including automotive tune-ups, home electrical work, and recreational vehicle wiring.
